(Sorry I have been so quiet lately. I tried to get some work for myself done which kept me occupied last week. I actually planned to launch my new website on April 1st but on the weekend and yesterday wasn't able to do anything else than trying to cure this stagginerg migraine headache I've gotten out of nowhere. I have no idea where it came from but it was the worst migraine attack in years. And I it was enough for the next years. So I hope it vanishes as miraculously as it appeared and will not ever come back. Anyway, today was good and I'm still happy that I'm already about half-way done with ithe website and can't wait to put it up on the internet. But with some client work this week and a friend's birthday it still has to wait a little longer. I'll do my best. )

Happy Friday: Spring & Thrift Store Finds

What made me happy this week? The sun. It looks like spring has finally arrived here in Nürnberg. And I'm totally happy about the sweet thrift store finds I made this week.

First thing I spotted outside the thrift store was this box of jars form the US. I had a closer look at them and noticed that they were barely used or some even brand new, and well, bought them right away. For some they might be just some boring jars but I think they are much prettier than any regular storage containers or jars. Plus they are super hard to find here.



Isn't this shaker gorgeous? Unfortunatley the cap is missing but how could I not get this shaker? I just can't say no to such awesome typo. And it was something about 80 Cent if I remember correctly....


Oh, and I found this little bubble bowl with the golden band. And some books that you can see in the first photo. And three sweet knives that I unfortunately forgot to take a picture of. So I left the store totally happy and content with this huge box of jars and a big bag of goodies for a mere of 10 Euro. Score. So what made you happy this week?

BoConcept Pendant & Work Table Lamps

I wish I had some spare money to get a new kitchen lamp - the Bristol pendant in vintage blue, bottom row on the right - and some new lamps for my desk - the work table/wall lamp, one of each color, please. Thank you! Don't you love them, too?

I really like Chris Spooner's Doodled Business Cards. Check out his blog for detailled and really helpful design instructions. This totally makes me want to make new business cards for myself...I think I would also be nice to doodle right on the cards and not have the doodles printed. Just think of all the possibilites and all those differnet cards you get this way...
