OK, I won't start this post crying how it's possible that we have already May (although I can't believe that 2012 is almost halfway through) as I am more than happy that April is over. I managed to leave some of the crap that was wearing my down behind and I feel much better again. So this is what May 12th looked for me...
I woke up after way too less sleep but right in time to open the door for the man from DHL and accept my delivery...
After a quick shower I left the house to run some errands. First stop was the thrift store...
I hit the drugstore where I gave myself a free manicure at the essie test area and found a new favorite color: Cocktail Bling - a great blue-ish grey. Unfortunately they had only this one bottle on the test table and none in the essie rack.
Afterwards I went to two supermarkets, to the Turkish supermarket where I got some greens, fresh garlic and pita bread and to my favorite Greek where I bought some Feta and spinach...
I bought some sour cherry necar at the Turkish supermarket and learned that sour cherry nectar is sour. Verrry sour! After six stores and a quick detour to feed my Dad's cat I was hungry and tired and finally heading home...
I made some quick tomato salad because I haven't eaten anything yet today and took an extended nap to make up for the sleep I missed at night...
In the evening I prepared some Borani (spinach with yogurt), tuna salad and Feta with homemade Chili-Olive Oil for dinner...I also made Hummus for the very first time but ended up not liking it...
